The biennial DSA National Convention will take place this summer from August 2-4, in Atlanta, Georgia. DSA San Diego has been allocated 12 slots for convention delegates, offering outstanding opportunity for members of our chapter to participate in the highest level of DSA governance — our national general assembly.
If you are interested in representing the San Diego chapter at the national convention, please fill out our candidate questionnaire (link embedded) no later than midnight, May 4.
Candidates must be members in good standing as of May 1, 2019. DSA San Diego will embark on fundraising beginning this summer to help defray expenses associated with travel, and a portion of travel expenses will be reimbursed by the national organization after the event. While chapter resources are limited, we are committed to assuring equitable access to members regardless of their individual financial standing.
